Convoluted processes that end up outright excluding a singles persons say in an end process, is what jades people towards the end decisions, it also frequently gets it wrong enough that it seems to fail as often as it gets it right.

Power structures don't serve to make those think beyond their own interests, 99% of the time they serve to serve their own and their friends interests, why listen to the people, when you can run things the way you and your mates want it, if you have the power to do so, almost no one is truly unbiased when it comes to this in positions of power.

I don't see why people assume clubs or organizations don't get a say when you give more power directly to the people, clubs and organizations are there to guide, suggest, advertise and promote what they think should be done, and for clubs they can choose in the end what they want to run anyway, if they then get it wrong, people are free to go to the clubs that get it right.

Awareness is a big factor, but groups like AARCMCC need to make people directly aware, hence get specific information out directly to the people it effects, best way to make sure of that, is people have direct membership and contact with whomever they are licensed with to race.

F1 is likely a classic example of much of this right now, the drivers hate it, teams hate it, spectators hate it, but the politics of F1, and the powered in control of it still continue to do whatever they want, which is just politics 101.

I have no illusions though that any of it will change anytime soon, or ever, but it serves as a lesson to why something broken will never be fixed.
