A big thanks to Kelly Lunsford for the Pizza for everyone last night.
Speaking of everyone, I can't remember the last time I saw a 10-car stock buggy b-main there...
The verdict: It runs like medium grip clay but perfectly consistent. Translation for the haters: it's actually lower grip than the clay would be in most spots but minus the tire-choice bingo game, saucing and everything that accompanied the clay. Grip should come up when it takes a little rubber but for right now, some sliding is the order of the day.
As far as tires, it's pretty straightforward with most running the Schumacher mini-spikes and a few in stock class on the mini pins. Tire wear is, as of last night, nearly non-existent. It is a bit bumpier than a flat-floored track would be so ride heights in the 21mm range as opposed to the 19ish many run elsewhere is needed though.
I'm already looking forward to next Thursday!
