The pull is not likely the ride height. Did you center your rear axle? And to add if the shimming fixed it, then that's the solution. I almost always shim different left to right by about 0.2mm, but it's to get equal droop.
If the center dot on your RR12 rear pod is center, then the wheels are dead center for a total of 170mm (85mm per side).
