Soft side springs are pretty much the best setup on every modern 1/12 car, in nearly all conditions
It is rare that a stiff side spring would be better, as this would just make the car more agile, which is not so much an issue now
Light weight cars, amazing grippy tracks, and tires have evolved setups to this point
Well, the issue we're having is that our track is pretty far from "amazing grippy". In fact most people have the same issue - at about 3 minutes in when the tire treatment wears off, it starts to get like we're driving on ice.
