Ventured out to see what David and Randy were putting together. They had a small configuration oval track set up for this meeting. I ran my electric GT car along with David's and Randy's oval LCG Slash late model (???). Had a good time running and getting some stick time in. There was a cookout with hamburgers and chips the main course. Learned a lot about what DMS is about with all their cool gadgets and gizmos. Like David stated in an earlier post, they do have a lap counting system for when enough guys come out for racing.

For those that use to run at the old T&T parking lot track back in the day, this is what David and Randy are trying to mimic. It is about coming out with what you have, run and have some fun in the sun, and enjoy the comradery of your fellow racers. You don't necessarily have to have an onroad car to run. Offroad cars are welcome to join in as well.

Participation from everyone is needed for this to be successful. The rules for the classes will be simple. What they are shooting for is the fun factor of r/c racing because isn't that why we are doing this, for the FUN and enjoyment of playing with our toys with our friends?
