Sign of the times.......
RTR petrol motors are the big push at GO these days.
Seems to me the tsunami of Taiwanese engines flooding the markets has subsided and is heading back out to sea.
Too many hands in too many pockets making too many engines using the same parts with different names on them.
Customers are not stupid. They saw what was happening and got bored with the "clone" mentality that took over the market.
We got that message from our customers a while back, which is why we left before the tide went out.
Its a pity, as there were some good products made, but it just got silly a while back with all the shared parts etc.
You couldn't call the product you imported your own in the end, as it's crank, carburettor etc was popping up on everyone else's engines.
I know that's how it works in Taiwan, but in my opinion it just cheapened the whole Asian engine scene and put customers off.
Just my slant on it obviously......
