Thanks everyone, decision made.

Direct to Motor
Direct to Battery with 4mm gold solid bullets (Castle do good ones apparently)

I will then get a separate lead made to charge the batteries with balance cable.

Any good makes of 12awg cable or are they all much of a muchness?
