I'd stay away from the 20 amp charges for just starting out. Work on the basics first, learn how to charge and care for the lipos properly, and driving and chassis setup.

The slight improvement with high discharge/charge rates, along with the risks involved and added knowledge to do it correctly, is something to consider after one can run consistent clean laps and get a good setup on the car.

Trying to start at warp 9 on the first week in the hobby (from other posts) is a recipe for disaster in my opinion. Many who start so aggressive encounter problems and don't stay long.

I like everything you posted except consider lowering the charge amps to something more reasonable as mentioned earlier. Perhaps 8 amps or so if you simply must for your shorty, or around 2C.
