Those pics were of the production conversion kit. The extra holes in the chassis in front of the t-plate are for antenna mount position and if you want to play around with a longer shock you can put an aluminum standoff there with a ball stud on top and try it out. The extra hole in between the front suspension arms are for a personal transponder and there is a small hole for the centerline of the chassis to tweek and balance the cars side to side weight. There are also 2 sets of servo mount holes. The stock position for angled mounts, and a set moved forward to mount the servo flat using the ears off the bottom of the case and then putting the ballstuds on the backside of the sevo saver. It takes a standard Associated t-plate.
