RIDE is very proud to announce the 1st RIDE Cup Championship Series in Malaysia. Ride has had quite a good response from the previous years organizing singlar RIDE CUP race annually. With the great support of local racers and also from all levels of RC goers, we have introduce the RIDE CUP CHAMPIONSHIP Series! We hope to provide all the fun of RC back to RC and for racers to enjoy this sport that we all love so much.
RACE CATEGORIES:
1. Touring Car - Modified (10.5T and below)
2. Touring Car - SuperStock (13.5T boosted)
3. Touring Car - Stock (13.5T Blinky)
4. Mini 2WD (13.5T Blinky)
5. F1 (17.5T Blinky)
RACE FORMAT:
Touring And Minis-
- 3 Heats (5 minutes each) for all categories
- 3 Finals for A Main, 2 Finals for B Main and 1 Final for other Mains
F1-
- 1 heat 10minutes (Fastest 3 consecutive laps would be used for qualifying)
- 1 Final for all Mains (15 minutes A Main, 10 minutes B Main)
CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS:
Top 20 drivers (A Main and B Main) qualify for championship points in the following order (22,20,18,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, 1).
TQ will earn an additional 1 bonus point.

Drivers - All Racers are welcome, except PRO drivers are advised not to join.

Mini 2WD

Tires and Inserts - Controlled Tires (RIDE 38/36/34/32 Mini Tires). 1 sets (1 additional set for A Main)
Chassis - Only injection molded chassis is allowed (e.g. TAMIYA (M03, M05, M06) / HPI (Switch) / ABC (Gambado)
Drivetrain - 2WD either front or rear (according to chassis make).
Bodyshell - Mini Specific Bodies Only (Only wing that comes with the bodyshell is allowed)
Min Weight - 1250g (with transponder)
FDR - 5.80 (max) (Cars May be checked during qualifying heats and finals)
Drivers - all interested drivers

Only chassis that are readily available in the market

Body Shells - only F1 specific body shells are allowed. No hand made wings of any kind or midification to the wings are allowed. Additional body parts are allowed provided they are used the way that they are intended for.
Min Weight - 1050g (with transponder)
Gyros are allowed only in F1
Tires and Inserts - Controlled Tires (RIDE 26022+26023 F1 Tires). 1 set Only

Touring Car - RM80 (inclusive of lunch & drink).

RM10 discount for two classes or more
Tires for all touring car classes would have to be bought from the race officials at a very special price as the tires would bear special markings and only they can be used for the race. Mini and F1 tires can be bought seperatly and be used for the race.
