Here are some SC and 2wd buggy tires i made out of those interlocking mats. They are 3/8" thick so rear tires are 5pcs laminated. The glue i used wasn't flexible enough so as the foam wore down the glue protruding caused a serious lack of traction. Hence the "treads" cut in them. One of the rear buggy tires chuncked a small spot then continued to grow as the day went on.
I have a much more flexible glue and new wider foam (black) on the way. This is a fun project and if i hit on a good combination i will have bragging rights in my circle of friends lol
