When I had Gil,Jr's car in my hand, I compressed the shock when noting how soft the springs were. The wheel rate was even softer. Alarmingly soft! But there may have been some interesting suspension geometry going on (as there were spacers under some of the hingepin carriers) that may have seriously raised the roll center allowing such soft springs.
