The Cap solution makes sense.
In the recent RCCA article they make mention that while the Transmitter draws less power on your batteries,
the reciever actually draws more power than a normal reciever. Something like Double if I remember correct.
They quickly mention this problem but then cover it right up by saying how much more power your saving on your transmitter.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could care less about my transmitters draw! The most important is the recievers draw.
I don't see how they could have missed this in all the "testing" they say they did.
Oh, well. Time will tell.
