I cut it to fit in the nose and then cut separate pieces for the top of the front wheel wells. I put lines of Shoe Goo down the length of each strip, about 1/2" apart. I then sandwich the Shoe Goo between the body and the fiberglass tape. I then use a Bondo spreader to force it down into the contours of the body. This helps to spread the Shoe Goo around and also keeps it off of my hands. Makes a cleaner looking piece, too.
