There are a lot of newer chargers out there that I haven't messed around with but I'm sure someone will chime in. To me, anything that will charge a 4s at 10A is a pretty good choice if you run electric 1/8 scale. I use an x4 for all the smaller stuff and a Dynamite Passport Ultraforce for the 4S packs.

The advantage of running 2x2S is charging and reusing your 1/10 packs from over the winter. The disadvantage is they are typically heavier and the wiring is tougher to do clean and fit under the tighter bodies. I'm sure there are other pros and cons, but either way (2x2S or 1x4S) works just fine for most applications..... your choice.
