My god you guys are gearing the Monster Stocks high!!! Don't know how you guys intend on winning at that high, but I guess your track must be uber short.

At our race track, we've seen ratios (depending on chassis) waver between as low as 5.7 to as high as 6.6. I personally think that around the 6.4 spot is a great place to start and if you are on a massive track like a Gas track (our Summer Nationals were held on a MASSIVE track and I was geared with a rollout of about 35mm = ~5.3-5.5 gear ratio) then you'll wanna delve into the 5s. I think that the kit gearing of 96/34 is a great spot to start, gives 6.48 if my memory serves me right. Start with around there and the laptimes should tumble, unless you are on a super tight track.
