If GP made the cells the same exact way with the same materials and specs, then the 3700 will have 500mA more in capacity, but no more voltage. Now to have a longer discharge or more capactiy, with all things being equal, will yield more consistent voltage along the discharge curve.If the cells have lower IR, then they will yield higher voltage. If the cells yeild more capacity, then the discharge curve will be extended and there for will yield a higher average voltage along a longer discharge curve.
So basically I would think that it is still too early to tell if the cell will yield higher voltage over all. But to say a 3700 has higher voltage then a 3300, I think that is too early to say. Unless Gary and some other matchers know things that they are not sharing with the world at this point. lol
Until more matchers are matching the cell and people are breaking the cells down. we will not be able to say that the 3700 have more voltage then a 3300.
remeber the spec of a battery like a gp3300 is that if you were to discharge the cell at 3700mA for 1 hour, the cell will yield 1.2volt plus or minus. so for 3700s you would be able to discharge at 3700mA for 1 hour and get 1.2volts plus or minus
