That's a lot of motor. Some run that much. Some run more. If you haven't run a 2wd buggy before or your last experience was with brushed motors and nicad batteries then it's probably a huge wake-up call. The D3.5 is also insanely powerful for what it is. Going down to a 13.5 may make learning a bit easier.
