Notchey would probably be a better word for it. When I first built the diff, it was fine, however, I didn't tighten down the screws all the way and I noticed a little oil leaking out. So I tightened them up and that's when I noticed the "notchiness". Is Notchey a word? It does seem to fit the circumstances. Thanks for the help.
