You are only refering to the engine but all your arguements can probably narrowed down by choosing the right exhaust, manifold, gearing and gearbox shift moment to optimise the performance.
With the N21-5T stock class I have seen many differences in the configuration of the motor. Fanally on the track with the right gearing and exhaust they were all running the same.
