Looks like you need a different pinion gear with the set screw closer to the teeth. Or maybe a ball end hex driver will let you slide it in further and tighten.
I was actually thinking about dremeling out a notch in the cam,
but figured I'd wait for some responses here first.
Thought I may have assembled something wrong but after checking it over carefully, I don't think I have. Same issue with center diff and slipper clutch.
