Monti is the Yoda of BSR foam tire explanations, will see if I can get him in here to clear things up, but this is how I view the foam families
Black, White, grey, Yellow are (Full Synthetic)
Front 2X Blue / Blue, are new foam (Synthetic, chalk like when trued)
Rear Blue / Green (Semi synthetic)
Magenta, Pink (Rubber based Japan foam)
