Any RACER I know of at my track, even the most novice has more than one lipo, and at our track we have no lipo issues.
Now for a basher, I can't comment. I have seen some messed up stuff come through the shop and only can give my opinion. They choose to listen, or choose not to listen.
Would you suggest a user would run their 1/8 E buggy , geared for speed runs, on a tight off road track with their 6 cell lipo in 100° weather for 20 minutes ? Some people do it. Some people get away with it. Some people pay the price with a meltdown. How do you want to look at it Racer?

To the OP. The pack that makes me curious is the saddle pack. You said it was green, the Venom green saddle packs have been long out of production for some time now. But when they were in production, I have used them successfully in my 4wd buggy without issue. If I can help you with your battery issue please contact me through my email. [email protected]
I will email you pictures of the packs that I have so you can see them for yourself. The green pack is the 4200 saddle with the "clear" green case with bullet connectors, not the pale green with the wires permanently attached.
