We used to have reasonable numbers at "The Gate" but as the speeds went up it kind of died. Then we tried 17.5 motors and the class has jumped up with several new racers running in the class. They like the simple cars (vs. T/C) and reasonable speeds. Interestingly the lap time is only about .4 seconds slower than a 1/12 scale 17.5 on a 10 second/lap track. Also racing is extremely close and intense.
