ive not built my Coyote yet, not studied the manual properly either, but it seems pretty much exactly like a tc3 etc..
the motor is just rotated 90deg.

I guess that is just the best way to do shaft drive.

Yes the Coyote was the first 4wd to use that transmission layout, the only difference being the motor location. The Coyote was released early in 1986 so anyone claiming the TC3, predator etc was the first is telling fibs
