The Kimbrough SS must just be a really hard fit on the servo, then.

The servo horns can be quite hard to fit press on, it's often quite annoying.
And nothing is so tedious as counting the teeth on a gear or splines on an output shaft. No big deal. The JR Z3650 is a great servo, I one in both of my cars and they've never gone wrong once.
