If the paint is good and cured on both pieces then you can shoo goo it on. I would lightly sand the outside of the lip on the body before you shoo goo. The edge on the body that tucks under the nose piece. Some racers need to use the rivets. Some use rivets, shoo goo, and drywall tape. This was a great shell for me. Good luck.

I get all of the nuts and bolts drilled and test fitted. I use four across the top and two on each size. You can get aluminum screws and plastic nuts if you want to save weight.

Then I remove it and smear a thin layer of shoe goo across the mounting tab on the body side. Then before it cures, I re-attach the nose using the nuts and screws.

Let sit. It ain't coming apart...
