I'm interested in the answer to this question myself- my TP1430 does exactly the same thing.
So I've spoken with Thunder Power about it, they told me that it needed to be updated and recalibrate. They wanted me to send it in but I bought it on dirtoval.com so I have no receipt to show them. I did the update and recalibration myself and tried it one raceday with no issues.
