I remember taking my buggy to the track and all the guys running the high dollar engines wanted to know what I was running. Just a slight fattening of the high end needle and it ran like a champ after 6 years or so sitting. I'm glad the Go's are still around, I might have to buy another one.
LosiMadman, I'm glad you got this puppy fired up and running again. I also have a Go 3 Port R spec, however I was disappointed with the power output. Maybe I have the wrong pipe..I don't know. I must admit it is a super reliable engine with a very steady ideal. Do you have the short needle carb or the long needle carb version? I think this is one of the those engines that is pipe sensitive.
Would mind sharing you pipe and clutch combo?
