At least a 60W iron with a chisel tip. Any will do with the best being the models mentioned above which are temperature controlled. However on a budget you can get a cheap hobby style iron and manually control the temperature by switching it on for the time you need it and switching it off again while you prepare the next joint. That way the iron doesn't get too hot that it burns the flux in the solder and makes a mess of the next joint.
