Hey,

I had the same problem. I used a thin piece of carbon fibre about 1.5mm thick drilled a hole in it, drilles a hole in the waterfall brace aswell from the backside and screwed the carbon fibre against the waterfall brace from the motor side.
Does 100% what it should as it prevents the battery from coming to close to the motor. Unfortunatelly you can only drill a hole on the opposite side of the motor plate as there is not enough romm between the motor plate and the waterfall brace to attach the carbon fibre to both sides. Not perfect but did not have any problems with it in about half a year.
