Better chargers can charge above 6 amps. This can make a real difference in time. Lower price chargers rarely charge above 6 amps. 10 amps really separates them. A lot of people at the track are using the Hi Tech quad and very satisfied with it, for charging 2s batteries @ 6 amps. If you go 3s and higher, you will need a 10 amp charger, or higher.
there are some batteries I see that say do not charge at rates more than 1C as it can damage them.
I know this always turns into a debate but some battery companies insist it will damage a lipo. I was just researching some batteries the other day and found this on a few sites. so until I never see this warning label anywhere again, 1c charging is all I'm going to do.
