Im not slamming Hitec or SkyRc. I have an hitec X4 and it's been very reliable. I've heard other stories about not being so. but mine is almost 3 years old and I have no issues with mine.

the real problem with any of this is most companies have their stuff made in china. even expensive high end chargers like Icharger. what guarantee is there that after the company reps leave the factory the china company isn't using low grade parts to cut corners and save money.
there's no guarantee of this. the Chinese are very known for making counterfeit products. for instance Hakko brand soldering stations. hakko has a notice on their own site about it. there's also tons of Casio G-shock watches that are fakes. the counterfeiters don't even care, they put the casio name and trademarks on it also. they can't be brought to justice. this is another reason companies need to stop dealing with china. ok, I'm on a rant. lol

if a company is actually interested in making high end quality products they would make it themselves. look at novak for example. they make all their own stuff right there on site in their own factory in California. I would much rather pay extra money for a product like this. hint hint other companies that may be reading this...
Depends on how you define "makes". Unless Novak has changed their parts sourcing it's still coming from China. Granted it does give them the ability to quality control the parts they use.

Side note, California (crazy state) has laws about labeling a product as "Made in the USA". A certain percentage of the item must actually be MADE in the US. Novak had to remove that label.

So I heard awhile ago anyway.
