Each new generation of radio gear seems to yield faster, more responsive product lines from all manufacturers... Honestly, I don't think we as consumers would accept anything less.

I've had the opportunity to use many different transmitters over the years; my personal choice has been the M11x, replacing the M11 I used for 5 years prior to that. Having used many different Futaba, Spektrum, and KO transmitters over the years, the level to which you feel "connected" to the model differs between radio systems; my preference favoring Airtronics. Whether or not that's related to system speed and response will always be a point of debate, however, I did notice an IMMEDIATE improvement in laptimes when updating my M11 to an M11x, as there was a definite improvement in response time and accuracy.
