Is there any point to this? I know there was speculation that a lot of the destroyed spurs were due to the carbon part not being secure particularly with 2mm button head screws so I just put a washer under cap heads on mine and tightened the heck out of those four screws.
I would think it's more bling than anything....I'm liking the wing mounts and buttons though..The nuts inside the stock mounts spin for me so I ordered up a set just now...Just have to send them off to get anodized to match the rest of the car..
