I agree with both of these guys. I found the best combination with med to hard front and soft rear. The cars have too much steering so you will benefit from less grip in the front. The track conditions vary as Chris said but rear traction is always a problem with the F1 as it is a direct drive car. Even with a 21.5, you will rarely use full throttle.
