It all depends on the attitude of the club.
Not the club owners but everyone in it.
where i race in the uk there some club which bash the hell out of each other and break cars no one gives a dammn.
Their other clubs where if you hit somebody you are expected to wait until they get past to carry on the race. Or if you end up half arcross the track cause you made a mistake or got knocked across the track to your advantage; you are expected to wait: until the guy that was in front of you gets ahead.
Same with lapping most guys give a wide berth as they don't want to ruin everyones lap from crashing into each other. This is due to the fair play attitude and the fact we are all friends when we come of the podium.
Winning should be about winning on your own merit ,not luck or bullying everyone out of your way.
Either way i know which club i prefer to run and have fun at, and talk to people.
