Thanks Howard, I fried my capacitors last night with a momentary crossing of + and - on my battery and need to replace the 'caps' so I can check function of my Hobbywing ESC.
I didn't think it would benefit performance, just curious if it would help any in the anti-glitch department. Looks like I'll just get the 2 cap replacement I see available.
You could temporarily "borrow" the cap(s) from a different ESC to test the HobbyWing. That would save a few bucks if the HobbyWing is dead.
