i just ran carpet this past weekend with the sdw, with a stock motor 27t, and cs-27 PREMOUNTED tires, the only change i made was to lay the front shocks in one hole and the rear shocks up one hole, i had a ton of steering and the rear was planted, i raised the front of the body one hole on the body mounts to take away a little steering, i was using the yok "e" body. TQ and won BTW.
