If you switch to Sorex jb tires you will lose another 26+grams, and if you get the Blitz gsf (0.5mm) body(60grams), you will lose another 30grams on top of that... My thunderpower 2700mah full size pack weighs only 168grams for another 50grams loss... I will not recommend switching to titanium hinge pins, turnbuckles, and ballstuds because of their enormous pricetag, but if you want to push it and go under 1100grams, then go for it......The tc4 can be light, but I still think that gearing higher(with non shielded bearings) than the belt cars is the way to win with the tc4/shaftdrive cars....

Bit of an eyeopener though in weighing things up.

My Tub setup track ready weighed 1316g with 4200 Shorty pack. With same pack and steel turnbuckles on the Diggity I am at 1288g, a drop of only 28g and the DC4 has alloy screw kit and FT light weight bumper on it the Tub did not. Both weighed with same Electronics/Body/Tires.

That said the DC4 is still 34g lighter than my Brothers TC6.2 with same electronics.
Both cars will get a little lighter and quicker today when our ORCA gear arrives, Tx17.5/VXX.

I realize weight isn't the be all end all but just goes to show all the light weight stuff isn't as light weight as you might expect, buyers be warned.

Will post pics when I get the new electronics in it today/tomorrow.
