I just gone the other way Tekno to XB8. There are similarities between the 2, they both have mad steering, both tough, but on my local track, the xb8 wins hands down, in a nutshell better setup options and easier to drive.
Thats the first time I have ever heard someone say the xb8 was easier to drive, I had the opposite experience, thought the xb8 was very twitchy for my style but obviously theres a million different setups and I think the reality is with enough trial and error or just pure luck you can find a setup on any kit that will work for you. What setup options does the xb8 have that the nb48 does not, I dont remember anything major but I only drove the xb8 for a weekend.
