I didn't talk to them yet but lost my 3rd lrp flow works team yesterday. All 3 , first i lose all dragbrake, then they cook the motor. I m running stock buggy 17.5 blinky with a reedy,tekin, and trinity. All 3 motors are burnt along with the esc's. Never again will I spend a dime on lrp. I dont care if their customer service rep drives to my house and gives me a new one with a handy! I refuse to put one in my car ever again. I was of the same opinion as you after purchasing a Flow team works. It cogged, spluttered, had runaways, glitches, random full throttle and other weird stuff. Upgraded the firmware every time it came out hoping it would fix the issues with it to no avail. I finally figured out the problem was my radio and receiver.
After changing away from Spektrum DSM the Flow worked perfectly, all problems gone, I got my confidence back with the ESC and now run it in my mod car. No problems since. DSM2 worked fine as well, just early DSM caused problems.
