On another subject.... There's no way I'm going to find this trying to search....

I have a great of CRC fronts that are unusable.... The tires are perfect, I'm just unable to get desired ride height.... Does anyone make milled down lower arms? Something that will allow you to run the tires smaller than what I can currently???? I think I saw IRS having them but they were only like .06 lower, that's not even 2mm.....
Hello. I tell everyone the same thing on 12th scale. Just get something cheap to start with. All of them except the CEFX and Trinity use the same front end, so if you want to convert to something later you have all the parts you need. The best car I've driven is the BMI that will, hopefully, be out really soon. It's has super stiff chassis just corners like nothing I've driven. Sounds like the kit will be about $135 and it will include everything except the front suspension, shock and the misc stuff, damper disk/tubes, bearings, etc. Definietly the best deal out there. Other conversions are just a chassis and maybe a top plate and damper tubes. The BMI kit is a complete rear end with pods and two top plates (one for damper disk and one for damper tubes).

Yes on the lower arms. IRS makes some lowered front arms. I have some and use them sometimes. I've found front tires get pretty useless below 1.7". They just don't have bite good on, our track anyway.

take care
