Have just built the kit and I was amazed at many of the details of the car. I think Torrance and his team have hit it on the nails. Simply genious!
The build was straightforward except after the second time (checking mesh) screwed a few screws in too much in the center diff. Have been used to feel by hand if its snug enough but being so small screws I almost screwed one through before checking visually what's going on. Oh well, had a spare. Also the small diff gears were a little rough. The diffs themselves were super smooth though, just been spoiled with Tekno gears.
Has someone just shortened the steering rack bushings a little or what's the prefered way to get a little slop away?
Also a tip. Screw in the plastic tower first before the wing holder.
How did you guys get get the clip on the front/rear gear outdrive on? I just forced it in with a flat driver. Almost lost the springy bastard though.
