Any thoughts as to the cause and cure?
I do use set up Locktite and a fair amount of hand strength.

Is the Tekno clutch better? Or just really tighten the clutch nut?

Thank you
MartinB,

I don't personally have any experience with that engine or clutch that you have, but I would just say that as long as you are using the collet that comes with the Losi clutch, and the crank on the motor and the "seat" of the actual clutch flywheel (where the collet sits) is not damaged or "spun" in any way, you should not have any issues.

If I was in your shoes, and still have the original Tekno clutch from the box, I would throw that in (maybe less down time and no need to buy any new Losi clutch parts)...using 100% components of the Tekno clutch (especially the collet).

From what I see, the Tekno clutch and Losi clutch are quite similar, so I don't think you will notice a major performance changes.

If the engine is that tight (how new is it?), I would definitely continue to pre-heat it...

I hope this helps.
