no .. but JQ has the same issue (4 mm chassis made flexy) at moments and I bend an alu one
I knocked it straight with a small hammer and checked after each trial it was straight, rolling it on a flat hard surface, till it was almost perfect
if you are in a hurry, a few hits with a rubber hammer will do the trick too
.. now it may be weaker after that, hollow.. I don't think so, seems hot making such a small beam hollow
the shaft bends, when you fall on the front of the car and all the weight of the rear, slams onto the chassisplate
and in that case, it will bend alu or steel.. and the action will also hit the outdrive/bearings and brace in the bulkhead
