It's actually recommended that you charge at 1C unless you know what you're doing and have good batteries. I charge at 2C for racing and that is a lot of juice.

Also, most chargers don't have very high discharge rates. You can have a charger that can zap at 20 amps and it'll still only discharge at 2 amps.
