I have been reading about set ups and I keep seeing talk about sweeps tires. Are people useing sweeps on carpet? I have tried them and I roll the car in every corner if I carry any speed. If they are faster, I will try them again and work on my setup a little more.
I have tried sweeps, m grips, s grips type b slicks, and type a slicks.
I am currently running type b in front and type a in rear, full sauce on front and rear. This is on a M05 V2 with a full size Lipo. I haven't purchased a shortly yet, smc doesn't have the good ones back in stock yet. Car turns in hard, doesn't push through corners and has good pull out as long as I do my part.

Always reading and trying some of the things I learn. This has to be the best car thread on rc tech.
