I'll be running mostly on a pretty large indoor clay track with pretty good grip most of the time. It's finally cooling off here in Texas (mid 80's lately). Hot during the summer though. And it'll be under a tight fitting 1/8 body, not an open SCT body with lots of airflow.

in your conditions maybe it's better to use a fan on hot days but passive cooling is generally enough, well placed holes/ vents in the body should make the trick
the esc will shut down if it's too hot so don't worry too much

I get about 3 leds on mine just after a race and it's doing fine
