Hmm what do you mean by notchy feel? Sorry to keep asking questions but the one part about this car that can be finnicky to get set right is the brakes and I spent weeks trying different setups and tried mugen brakes and everything but i was ultimately able to get the Tekno brakes to work REALLY well, in fact when I show guys show to set them up, they end up having to back it off because they all of a sudden have TONS of stopping power. Hit me up if you need any help.

That said, its my understanding that Kyosho brakes work if you want to spend $200 and also mugen pads which you glue to the stock pads after removing the brake material or some guys really like the alternative Tekno option which is the carbon rotor w metal pads.
